Aadya, a 22-year-old, short in height at just 5 feet, is a quintessential Hyderabadi. Adorned with a round nose pin on her right side, a red bindi, bracelets with charms and beads, and eyes highlighted with shades of kajal, she epitomizes the vibrant city girl. Today, she wore denim pants paired with a short Indian kurta.

Karan, on the other hand, stood tall at 5'11". He was the laid-back, oversized joggers and oversized t-shirt type, with headphones perpetually hanging around his neck. Both Aadya and Karan had secured admission to Christ University in Bangalore. Aadya was set to pursue her LLM (Masters in Law), while Karan was joining the MBA program.

Karan, always looking to save money, opted for the Rajdhani Express from Delhi to Bangalore, a two-day journey of around 40 hours. After 28 hours of his trip, the train stopped in Hyderabad, where Aadya boarded, her seat directly opposite Karan's. In the typical Indian train setup, no one occupies the middle berth until nightfall, with passengers gathering on the lower berths instead. Aadya, following this norm, found herself sitting in front of Karan.

Despite her usual disinterest in North Indian men, Aadya didn’t mind making conversation to pass the time. She introduced herself with the confidence and flair typical of her city-girl personality. Karan, equally extroverted, responded in kind. The initial exchange was polite but not particularly warm. Aadya’s strong temperament didn’t escape Karan’s notice, and likewise, Karan’s demeanor didn’t immediately impress Aadya. After all, North Indian men were not her type. They both felt an undercurrent of tension but kept the conversation civil.

Dinner time on the Rajdhani brought some respite. The free meal service allowed them to focus on something other than each other’s company. Post-dinner, Aadya, feeling sleepy, asked the fellow passengers if she could prepare her middle berth for the night. She lay down, ready to escape into sleep. Karan did the same shortly after. Train is moving, and everyone in their berths set themselves to sleep.

Then, Aadya reached for her phone to charge it, only to find that Karan was already using the socket. She asked if she could charge her phone, and he agreed, unplugging his device. Karan then called a friend to discuss his flat arrangements in Bangalore, unaware that this conversation would pique Aadya’s interest. Overhearing Karan’s discussion, Aadya was intrigued. She hadn’t finalized her own accommodation plans in Bangalore. Her original arrangement to stay with a friend had fallen apart because her friend's mother didn't allow her daughter to stay in a flat outside. Her friend was instructed to stay in a PG and invited Aadya to join her. However, Aadya wasn't interested in staying in a PG and was essentially headed to Bangalore without a clear plan.

Curiosity got the better of her, and she initiated another conversation. “Hey Karan, were you talking about Christ University just now?” Karan, slightly surprised, nodded. “Yes, I’m joining the MBA program there.” Aadya, sensing a possible solution to her dilemma, continued, “I haven’t really planned my stay yet. My initial arrangement fell through, and I’m not keen on staying in a PG.” Karan, always willing to help, listened attentively. Their conversation shifted from initial awkwardness to a more practical discussion about their upcoming life in Bangalore. They shared their thoughts, concerns, and plans, slowly breaking down the barriers between them. “Oh, that’s good. I am also joining Christ, but I’m joining in law. I’m definitely known for strong arguments,” Aadya said with a smirk. Karan chuckled, “Oh, that’s nice. So, where are you planning to stay?” Aadya hesitated for a moment before answering, “I’m not sure yet. My initial plan fell through, and I don’t want to stay in a PG. What about you?” “I’ve taken a 2BHK with two other friends of mine,” Karan replied. Aadya thought for a moment and then asked, “Do you have any contacts of any other friends who are girls and who are also looking for a flat? Maybe you can connect me with them?” Karan nodded, “I can try. I know a few girls from NIFT who are looking for a place. I’m not sure if they are willing to stay with someone new, but I’ll ask.” Karan connected Aadya with his friends from NIFT. One of them, named Siri, turned out to be looking for a flat and didn’t mind staying a bit away from college. Aadya, however, was particular about staying close to the college to avoid the hassle of commuting.

Despite this, Aadya was grateful for Karan’s help. She called Siri, and although Siri preferred a different location, Aadya felt a sense of relief knowing she had a potential lead. The night wore on, and both Aadya and Karan eventually settled down to sleep. The next morning, they woke up and prepared for their final leg of the journey. As the train approached Bangalore, Karan suggested, “Since we’re both heading to the same area, how about we share an auto and split the fare?” Aadya agreed, appreciating the practicality. They were approached by auto drivers asking for 500 rupees for the ride to Christ University, but neither of them knew Kannada and didn’t want to be overcharged. They decided to rely on Ola instead and found a better deal on Rapido for 180 rupees. They booked the auto and both sat inside, sharing the ride to their respective destinations. Aadya mentioned that she would be tentatively staying with her uncle, who lived about 3 kilometers from Christ University. As they neared Aadya’s uncle’s place, she turned to Karan and said, “Thanks for the help, Karan. See you around at Christ!” “Sure, Aadya. Good luck with your accommodation,” Karan replied with a smile.

Aadya got down from the auto, waved goodbye to Karan, and headed towards her uncle’s house. Karan continued his ride to his flat near the college, feeling a sense of accomplishment for having helped a fellow student. A few days passed by, and Aadya had finally sorted out her accommodation with Siri. She was thankful to Karan for the connection that made it possible. Karan had also settled into his new flat. A week later, it was their college opening day. Both of them headed to the college, but they were busy with their own schedules. The law and MBA departments were in different blocks, keeping them apart. Aadya quickly made friends in her new environment. She met Avneet, the flamboyant girl from Punjab, and they hit it off instantly. Aadya’s friendship with her roomie Siri, was also blossoming. Aadya often helped Siri with her fashion assignments, applying her analytical lawyer brain to the tasks. Siri wasn’t particularly impressed but had no choice but to accept the help due to her looming deadlines.

Fifteen days passed, and Aadya’s life in Bangalore was off to a great start. She was thankful for the connections she had made and the smooth transition into her new life. She often thought about how her journey with Karan had played a pivotal role in setting the stage for her new beginnings. Despite her busy schedule, Aadya couldn’t help but wonder about Karan. She hadn’t seen him around campus, and he hadn’t even said hi since they arrived. She was curious and a bit frustrated. “Where could this guy be?” she thought.

Fresher’s Party

One day, Aadya heard about a freshers' party being organized by the university. It was the perfect opportunity to meet new people and, hopefully, bump into Karan. As she entered the party, the vibrant atmosphere and lively music lifted her spirits. She scanned the room, hoping to spot a familiar face. After a while, she saw Karan hanging out with some friends. He was wearing proper formals for the party, looking quite different from his usual laid-back style. However, Karan had forgotten his glasses in his excitement, leaving him slightly disoriented and unable to notice Aadya’s gaze. Aadya, from across the room, watched him for a moment. She hoped he would notice her, but he seemed completely oblivious. Annoyed, Aadya interpreted his lack of acknowledgment as arrogance. Her initial impression of him as a typical over-confident North Indian guy resurfaced, solidifying in her mind. She turned away, feeling a mix of disappointment and frustration. “Typical,” she muttered to herself. “Just another over-proud, over-confident North Indian guy.”

Aadya decided to enjoy the rest of the party with her friends, pushing thoughts of Karan aside. She mingled, danced, and laughed, but couldn’t shake off the nagging feeling that her initial impression might have been right after all. Meanwhile, Karan, just saw Aadya hanging out with her friends. By the time Karan approached Aadya, his eyes have given up on him again. Aadya left the party leaving Karan confused where she went coz he couldn’t see. And hence, the freshers' party ended without any more encounters between them, leaving Aadya with a grudge she felt on Karan as well-deserved and leaving Karan in confusion about what his eyes are able to track the world. They went back to their respective flats.

That same night, they wanted to go to an after-party because the parties in college are generally very boring. So, it's very normal in Bangalore for students to have an after-party in pubs. Karan's roommate, Rishi, wanted to take his girlfriend Avneet along, so they decided to pick her up on the way. Karan and both his roommates, all prepped in their club clothes, were the quintessential "Party boys," cool-looking and prepped up for the party. Karan, in particular, looked exceptionally dashing that day, sporting a black shirt with chinos and slicked-back hair.

After getting everything ready, Karan and his two roommates, Rishi and Vishnu, set off to the place where Avneet had requested them to come. When they arrived, Karan was quite surprised to see Aadya there. There was an awkward, weird, surprised, and shocked eye contact for a few seconds. Let's count 1, 2, 3, silence. Then Karan broke the silence.

"Hey, hi, it's quite surprising to see you here. I think I should—"

Aadya cut him off, "I think I am the one who's supposed to say that. I’m quite shocked to see you here. Why are you here?"

Karan replied, "I came here to pick Avneet up. Why are you here?"

"Yeah, Avneet has come to check up on me because I'm feeling a bit unwell today."

"Oh, that's kind of sad. How are you doing right now?" Karan asked, a hint of concern in his voice.

"I’m doing fine. I’ll be fine by tomorrow. I think I just need to rest up," Aadya replied.

The conversation was loaded with unspoken thoughts. Both of them were confused to see each other and didn't know how to interpret it. There was an awkward silence. Their replies were equally awkward.

Karan, with nothing more to say, since Aadya had denied coming to the after party, nodded. They picked Avneet up and left Aadya and Siri in the flat. Karan, Rishi, and Vishnu decided to head to the after party. Karan, however, couldn't shake off the surprise and confusion of the unexpected encounter with Aadya.

Karan, Avneet, Rishi, and Vishnu enjoyed the party quite a bit. Amidst the fun, Karan found himself wishing he could have had a proper conversation with Aadya. The brief, awkward encounter still lingered in his mind, and he hoped for another opportunity to meet her.

A few days passed, college life went on as usual, and there were several meetups where Avneet, visiting to meet Rishi, also met Karan. They became good friends, and since Avneet frequently met Aadya and Siri, it felt natural for their social circles to overlap. Siri, however, remained busy and didn't mingle much with anyone except Avneet and Aadya.

As days passed, Karan felt increasingly compelled to break the silence between him and Aadya. A week later, he decided to take advantage of their common friendship with Avneet. He proposed to Avneet that they should have a weekend house party, a typical college student meetup.

Karan, still unsure if he was interested in Aadya romantically or just valued her as a friend, mentioned the idea to Avneet. Avneet, sensing a hint but not pressing for details, was happy to help. She proposed the plan to Siri and Aadya, suggesting they have a meetup at their place to socialize, meet new people, and enjoy the night with some drinks. Though Aadya and Siri, like Vishnu, didn't drink alcohol, they could enjoy mocktails.

Aadya, despite feeling some hesitation due to the awkwardness with Karan, decided to wipe it off and agreed to the party. She assumed the plan was Avneet's idea, unaware of Karan's involvement.

The group decided to meet up the next day, which was Saturday of that week.

Finally, Saturday arrived, and as planned, everyone was excited for the house party. Siri, the fashion student who was still quite timid, opted for a casual look with shorts and a t-shirt, not prepped up like the typical fashion students.

Aadya, on the other hand, chose an outfit that was both comfortable and stylish. She wore a three-quarter ruffled skirt with fringes and a cute tank top, accessorizing with beaded bracelets and, of course, her bindi.

Avneet decided to embrace her usual sexy style, opting for a maroon bodycon dress that reached her knees, with a deep round neck and short sleeves.

Karan reverted to his original comfortable style, which he carried off best. He wore black joggers with too many pockets and an oversized t-shirt that read, “Pizza is my soulmate.”

Rishi kept it simple with regular pants and a white t-shirt.

Vishnu, being a typical South Indian good boy from a tier-2 city, chose to wear something very simple: regular pants and a full-hand shirt, very formal and not really experimental.

As the evening began, the group gathered, each person bringing their own unique flair to the house party. The atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation and excitement for the night ahead.

They opened the mocktails, and those who drank alcohol mixed the mocktails with their drinks. They had Old Monk rum, Kingfisher Gold Beer, and for the girls, their favorite: chocolate vodka.

Everyone had their own share of drinks, and as is customary at such gatherings, Truth or Dare became a must-play game. It started off as a group activity, where Karan, Aadya, and everyone else had the chance to talk and have fun. As the night progressed, the drinks flowed, and the atmosphere became livelier.

Though Aadya didn't drink, Karan enjoyed his share of Old Monk but managed to keep it moderate. As the night wore on and others began to fall asleep, Karan and Aadya found themselves the only ones still awake.

The conversation naturally began with food. Karan lamented how much he missed Delhi's Pani Puri, calling the chaat in Bangalore "shit." Aadya chimed in about her longing for good biryani, stating that Bangalore's Meghana's Biryani was nothing compared to what she was used to. They shared a laugh, bonding over their mutual disappointment with Bangalore's food scene.

The conversation flowed seamlessly from there. They talked about their schooling, college experiences, why Karan chose MBA, and why Aadya was pursuing law. So many topics were covered, and this late-night talk laid the foundation for a good conversation and budding friendship between Aadya and Karan.

And the beautiful night was over. Later on in college, Aadya and Karan managed to meet a couple of times, making it a point to keep their conversations going. However, the movie-style "love at first sight" moment had yet to occur.

And it’s Onam time…

It's a norm in Bangalore that colleges almost look as if they were set up in Kerala during Onam time, especially at Christ University. That year, the university was celebrating Onam in full swing. All the guys wore white lungis, some folded up, and Karan had donned his white lungi, folded up, with a black shirt, black sunglasses, and his little messy curly hair.

The girls were all dolled up in white Onam sarees. Aadya looked ephemeral in her red short-sleeved blouse paired with a white saree. She accessorized with a sleek gold temple necklace, some mogra flowers in her hair, kajal, a red bindi, and gold jhumkis.

Aadya was walking through the college, looking radiant in her Onam attire. Karan was already on campus when Aadya called him to ask where he was so they could meet up. By this time, they had become good friends. The college was buzzing with Onam festivities, including the traditional Chenda Melam, a type of dholak played during the celebrations, setting the rhythm for the festive dance.

For the event near the amphitheater, Aadya called Karan, and they decided to meet up. As Karan walked towards Aadya, wearing his lungi and sunglasses, he removed his sunglasses to see the scorching sun and the cutest Aadya in her saree. It was a moment straight out of a South Indian movie, where the hero falls for the heroine in a white dress. Never did Karan imagine, but he kind of felt, wow, Aadya is sooo cute.

While processing his thoughts about Aadya, she saw Karan and complimented him, "Hmm, nice attire, man." They met, and together, they joined in the dance to the beats of the Chenda Melam and enjoyed the Semya payasam, a traditional sweet dish served during Onam. All the while, Karan was captivated by Aadya, unable to think of anything else.

Finally, Karan mustered the courage to ask, "Shall we meet up after college? Can we go somewhere outside tonight?"

Aadya agreed with a smile, "Okay, fine, let's meet up."

Once the Onam celebrations were over at the college, both Karan and Aadya returned to their flats. Aadya texted Karan, "Hey Karan, where are we meeting?"

Karan replied, "Shall we meet at Dyu Art Cafe in Koramangala?"

Aadya responded, "Oh, that sounds interesting. I think I'm okay with that."

So they finalized Dyu Art Cafe. Aadya asked for the time, and Karan suggested, "How about 8 PM?"

"That's cool. Okay, then see ya," Aadya agreed.

Today, Aadya felt like dressing up a bit. She decided to pick her grey short dress that came just above her knees. It was flared, giving her a mini cute princess vibe, with a halter neck, making her feel like a comfortable queen. She paired the outfit with little cute Cinderella kinda silver shoes and her signature bracelets of course.

Karan decided to wear a wine-colored shirt with chinos and sneakers.

Both of them met at Dyu Art Cafe, where a half-hour wait was the minimum. As they waited, Karan saw Aadya and couldn't help but think, "Oh, that's so cute." Aadya, on the other hand, wasn't thinking anything specific about Karan but appreciated how cute they both looked.

They stood there, looking forward to their meal and the ambiance at Dyu Art Cafe, excited to see how the night would unfold.

Finally, after a half-hour wait, Karan and Aadya got a nice table at Dyu Art Cafe. They admired the interesting artwork around them as they settled in. Once seated, they began to decide on their order. They chose some pasta, a small pizza, and cold coffee.

While waiting for their food to arrive, they started talking. Karan asked, "So, what's up?"

Aadya replied, "Ha, nothing much. It's a nice cute little cafe."

Karan smiled and said, "I probably can't control myself but have to admit that you were looking ethereal in the Onam saree. I thought I should tell you that."

Aadya blushed a little, feeling happy. "Oh, thank you so much for saying it. That's so nice of you to say. And you were looking really good in the South Indian attire too. The sunglasses with it were spot on."

Karan felt elated, finally getting the attention he was wishing for. He blushed slightly and replied, "Oh, that's so nice. Thank you so much."

As they enjoyed their cold coffee, pasta, and pizza, they got into a conversation about how college was going. They discussed normal day-to-day things like paying rent in Bangalore, dealing with the water problems, the romantic but ever-changing weather of Bangalore, the traffic, and their friends and classmates. Their chat flowed effortlessly, making the evening even more enjoyable.

And yes, their meet was over. Now it was time to head back to their homes. Karan, however, wasn't in the mood to end the evening just yet. He wanted to extend their time together. Though Karan wasn't typically one to walk around, he took the chance because Koramangala’s inner roads are quite pretty. Despite the busy exterior, the inner streets were quiet, filled with plants, and had a very residential feel.

Karan proposed, "Hey Aadya, do you want to walk around?"

Aadya, who loved walking, was fine with it, though she felt a bit hesitant as it was getting late. Nevertheless, she agreed, "Okay, fine. Let's go walk around."

As they strolled through the peaceful streets, their conversation kept flowing effortlessly. They talked about everything and anything, enjoying each other's company amidst the serene, tree-lined roads of Koramangala. The night air was cool and refreshing, making their walk even more pleasant, adding to the special connection they were building.

Karan had been high on Aadya all day. The moments they spent together felt incredibly special to him. As they walked through the serene streets of Koramangala, Karan realized he had fallen for Aadya. He wanted her to be his, and the beautiful Bangalore weather only heightened his feelings.

As they strolled, the sky began to drizzle, adding a magical touch to their evening. Karan couldn't control his emotions any longer. A million thoughts bombarded his mind. He was tense, scared, and worried about how Aadya would react. What if she didn't feel the same? What if he ruined their friendship? But keeping his feelings inside was becoming unbearable.

With the street lights casting a soft glow and the rain lightly falling, Karan finally gathered the courage to speak. "Aadya, can I hold your hand?" he asked.

Aadya, sensing the seriousness in his tone, hesitated for a moment but then replied, "Okay, maybe, yeah, let's hold hands."

They held hands, and Karan, feeling a surge of emotion, stepped in front of her, stopping in the middle of the road. It was around 11:30 pm, the streets quiet except for the gentle rain. He took a deep breath and said, "Aadya, I just can't control this anymore. I can't keep it inside me. I really like you. I fell for you. The time we've spent together lately, especially Onam, seeing you in that saree, and today... it was magical to me. Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

There was absolute silence. Aadya was shell-shocked, surprised, unsure of what to say. Karan, terrified, braced himself for the worst. What if she walked away? What if she slapped him?

To Karan's immense relief, Aadya was silent for a while, processing his words. Just then, they reached a main road, where an ice cream vendor called out, "Do you guys want an ice cream?"

Karan, not interested in ice cream at all, saw it as a way to break the tension. "Do you want an ice cream, Aadya?" he asked, trying to fill the awkward silence.

Aadya, still confused and trying to process everything, looked at Karan and then at the ice cream vendor. The weirdness of the situation piled up, but she nodded, "Okkayyyyyyy, let's have an ice cream."

As they stood there, eating their ice creams in the rain, the moment hung in the air, waiting for Aadya to find her words. The night was far from over, and the future of their relationship hung in the balance.

With no interest in the ice cream, Karan was at a loss. The silence between him and Aadya was palpable. Inside, he was burning with fear and uncertainty, questioning if he had just ruined everything. Guilt and anxiety were piling up inside him, making the suspense unbearable. For Aadya, the ice cream provided a momentary distraction, giving her time to think about her feelings, which she hadn't fully considered until now.

After finishing her ice cream, Aadya broke the silence. "Karan, I think I need to go home. It's really late. Can you walk me home?" she asked.

Karan's heart sank. He felt as if he had messed up completely. Unsure of what to do, he chose to follow her request. "Yeah, sure, I can drop you," he replied.

They walked in silence to Aadya's place. Upon arrival, Aadya said, "Okay then, see ya, bye," and went inside.

Karan was left standing there, overwhelmed by a flood of emotions. He felt tears welling up but couldn't cry. He was filled with anxiety, unable to stand still. His mind was racing with a million thoughts, and he felt utterly confused and alone. Needing support, he called Rishi.

Explaining the situation to Rishi, Karan sat on a chair by the side of the road, feeling inactive and lost. Rishi, understanding the urgency, came to pick him up on his bike. It was only a few hundred meters from Karan's house to where he was sitting.

Karan got onto the bike, and as they started home, Rishi asked, "So what exactly happened? Can you explain in more detail?"

Karan, with no choice but to relive the moments, began recounting everything that had happened over the last few days, especially today—the Onam day and their date night. As he spoke, he tried to make sense of his feelings and the events that had transpired, hoping to find some clarity and comfort in sharing with his friend.

Rishi listened intently to Karan's entire story, absorbing every detail. He was equally confused but tried to be supportive. "It's okay, Karan," Rishi reassured him. "There's nothing wrong with expressing your feelings. Let's see if she might get back to you by tomorrow. We'll catch up with her in college."

They reached home, where Vishnu was already there. Karan, feeling exhausted and emotionally drained, went to his room and told Rishi good night. He had a pathetic, restless night, curling up like a ball on his bed. His mind raced with millions of thoughts, preventing him from sleeping. The hours ticked by—1, 2, 3, 4 AM—before he finally managed to get a few hours of restless sleep.

Karan had an early start the next day. With no choice but to show up in college, he woke up at 7:30 AM, his face tired and dark circles under his eyes. As he brushed his teeth, the first thought of his day was again about Aadya and what had transpired. He couldn't think about anything else.

He got ready mechanically, his mind preoccupied with the events of the previous night. There was a weird tension hanging over him, a mix of fear and anxiety about facing Aadya again. The thought of seeing her made him hesitate, feeling like there was a ton of weight on his body.

Reluctantly, he prepared to head to college, hoping for some clarity or resolution but feeling the overwhelming uncertainty of what lay ahead.

Aadya had managed to get some good sleep the previous night, despite a bit of initial confusion. The next morning, she too woke up with thoughts of Karan and the events of the night before. She was aware of the weird tension between them and couldn't fully catch up with her own thoughts, but she knew she had to show up in college.

She got ready, opting for a basic block-printed kurta and palazzos, pairing them with sandals. She skipped the kajal, feeling a bit restless herself. Instead, she did her skincare routine, put on a bindi, and headed to college.

As Aadya walked to college, she tried to sort through her feelings about Karan's confession. She knew she needed to address the situation, but she was still processing her own emotions and how she felt about him.

Meanwhile, as they say, gossip travels fast, especially among friends. That same night, Rishi, knowing the whole situation, called up Avneet to explain everything. Avneet was quite surprised to hear that Karan was into Aadya, considering she had been aware of their previous awkward interactions and Aadya's earlier dismissive comments about Karan being "just another North Indian guy."

Avneet already had some gossip ready, as Aadya had shared her version of the story before. But knowing that Karan had developed feelings for Aadya was new information. Despite the surprise, Avneet and Rishi decided to help them out and act as matchmakers.

Avneet was determined to talk to Aadya and gauge her true feelings. She planned to catch up with Aadya in college and subtly bring up the topic. Meanwhile, Rishi planned to keep Karan in good spirits and encourage him to stay hopeful.

The next morning, Avneet met Aadya at college. Seeing Aadya's somewhat restless demeanor, Avneet asked, "Hey, how are you doing? You seem a bit off today."

Aadya sighed, "Yeah, it's been a bit of a confusing morning. I’ve been thinking about Karan a lot."

Avneet saw her opportunity and gently probed, "Oh? What about him? Anything specific on your mind?"

Aadya hesitated but then shared, "Last night, he confessed that he likes me and asked if I wanted to be his girlfriend. I didn’t know what to say and ended up not giving him an answer."

Avneet, sensing the need for clarity, encouraged her, "Maybe you should think about what you truly feel. Karan’s a good guy, and it’s clear he genuinely likes you."

Meanwhile, Rishi was keeping Karan's spirits up, reminding him that expressing his feelings was the right thing to do. "Give her some time, Karan. Sometimes these things take a while to process," Rishi said reassuringly.

As the day progressed, Aadya found herself reflecting more on Karan’s confession and their growing friendship. She realized she needed to address her own feelings and give him a proper response. With Avneet and Rishi’s support, both Karan and Aadya were guided towards understanding their emotions better, setting the stage for whatever would come next.

The day passed by with Aadya having all sorts of thoughts in her brain. She hadn't developed deep feelings for Karan before he proposed. She just thought he was a cute guy. Now, she was weighing everything up: Karan is a North Indian guy from Delhi, and their food preferences were very different. He was into MBA, and she wasn't sure how their interests aligned. She thought of the positives too, but the negatives seemed more prominent in her mind. With all of that mess in her brain, she couldn't face Karan that day.

For Karan, it was the longest day in college. He couldn't concentrate on anything, and the 24 hours felt like 24 days. Every moment, he hoped Aadya would come up with some kind of reply.

The day dragged on for both of them. Eventually, they went back home and slept, with no resolution yet. Both were left in a state of uncertainty, waiting for what the next day might bring.

Karan was not someone who stayed moody for long. After a day and a night of waiting, his anxiety and uncertainty had turned into anger and irritation. He felt restless and decided he couldn't wait any longer. He resolved to confront Aadya and ask for a reply, hoping he wouldn't sound as rude as his feelings had become in that time of uncertainty.

The next day, both headed to college. During the lunch break, Karan gathered his confidence and approached Aadya, standing in front of her. Aadya was silent, unsure of what to say or do, giving him the silent treatment.

Karan, trying to keep his tone steady, said, "Aadya, I was expecting a reply. You didn't give me one."

Aadya looked at him, her mind racing. She knew she couldn't avoid the conversation any longer. "Karan, I'm sorry for not responding. I needed time to think. I haven't really sorted out my feelings yet."

Karan's frustration softened a bit at her honesty. "I understand you need time, but this silence is killing me. I need to know where we stand."

At this point, Aadya realized that Karan’s straightforwardness with his emotions was something she needed to acknowledge and appreciate. She had been focusing on the negatives out of fear of getting into something new and had let those thoughts weigh her down, putting Karan in unnecessary uncertainty.

She took a deep breath and replied, "Hey Karan, I think you're really cute, you're a nice guy. But what I appreciate the most is your openness and how frank you are with your emotions. That's rare to find because I haven't really encountered that kind of honesty before. I think I really like you too."

Karan's eyes widened in surprise and relief. "You do?"

Aadya nodded, smiling softly. "Yes, I do. I was just scared and confused, but your honesty helped me realize my own feelings."

Karan felt a wave of relief and happiness wash over him. "Thank you for saying that, Aadya. I understand if you need more time, but I'm glad we can at least acknowledge this and see where it goes."

That was some relief to Karan. He was really happy to hear from Aadya that she liked him back. However, a tinge of confusion remained in his mind. A few negative thoughts crept in: Did she really like him back, or did she feel compelled to say yes to avoid hurting his feelings or ruining their friendship? Despite these doubts, overall, he was quite happy with the positive reply.

After the lunch break, they headed back to their classes. The college day ended, and as they were going back home, Karan met Aadya again. They walked together, chatting about their day and other normal stuff. Both of them were tired from the emotional whirlwind of the past few days. They texted each other a bit before going to bed, finally getting a peaceful sleep after three days of handling uncertainty.

From then on, their texting increased day by day. They started sending each other good morning messages and talked not just through texts but also during lunch breaks and while going home. They attended many parties together, enjoying the vibrant life of Bangalore. Christ University, located in Koramangala, was a happening place. They frequently visited Indiranagar and other fun spots in the city.

Over the next two months, their bond grew stronger. Despite their busy schedules with assignments and exams, they always made time for each other. Their lives intertwined more and more, making their college experience and time in Bangalore even more enjoyable.

Once they finished their first semester exams and assignments, Karan and Aadya had become used to having each other in their lives. They regularly texted, met up daily, and enjoyed parties, cafes, and restaurants together. Rishi and Avneet were also a big part of their lives, with occasional appearances from Siri and Vishnu, who were more reserved and preferred keeping to themselves.

After the semester exams, Rishi, Avneet, Aadya, and Karan gathered in the college to discuss how their exams went. They all did quite well and felt relieved from the stress. To celebrate, Avneet suggested a creative idea. "Let's go for a double date. How about it?" she proposed.

Aadya, still a bit shy about calling it a date, felt a bit hesitant even though she had grown closer to Karan. Karan, on the other hand, was excited but tried not to show it too much. Rishi was happy with the idea, and everyone agreed to the plan.

However, Aadya felt the need to include Siri and Vishnu, as she hadn't spent much time with them lately. "I think we should invite Siri and Vishnu. It’s been a while since we hung out with them," Aadya suggested.

"Oh, that sounds cool," Avneet replied. "It'll be a double date with two third wheelers!"

They split up to share the plan with Siri and Vishnu. Karan and Rishi headed to tell Vishnu about the plan, while Avneet and Aadya went to inform Siri.

Karan and Rishi found Vishnu in his usual spot. "Hey Vishnu, we’re planning a little celebration. A double date with Aadya, Karan, Avneet, and Rishi. We’d love for you to join us and be our third wheeler. What do you think?" Karan asked.

Vishnu smiled and agreed, "Sure, sounds like fun. Count me in."

Meanwhile, Avneet and Aadya approached Siri with the same proposal. "Hey Siri, we’re planning a double date celebration after our exams. We’d love for you to join us as well and be our third wheeler. What do you think?" Avneet explained.

Siri, although initially hesitant, smiled and said, "Alright, it sounds like fun. I'm in."

With everyone on board, the group finalized their plans for a fun celebration, bringing their close-knit circle together for a well-deserved break and some light-hearted fun.

Avneet, the charming and overexcited girl, suggested that everyone should color-coordinate for their double date, which would include their two third-wheelers. She instructed everyone in their WhatsApp group, "Hello guys, how about we color-coordinate tonight? Don't you think it'll be fun?" Aadya, Karan, and Siri were excited about the idea. Rishi and Vishnu, who were usually more laid-back, agreed to go along with whatever the group decided. They all chose to wear black, a color everyone had, making coordination simple yet stylish.

In the evening, they decided to meet at Matteo Cafe on Church Street. The cozy atmosphere of Matteo Cafe, combined with its delicious menu, made it the perfect spot for their celebration. They enjoyed burgers, pizza, and coffee, sharing laughs and discussing their semester. They bitched about a few faculty members, and the conversation flowed seamlessly between topics of law and business, with some light-hearted flirting thrown in. Siri and Vishnu sometimes felt unsure of what to do, but they enjoyed the fun atmosphere nonetheless.

After dinner, they decided to walk around Church Street. The street was bustling with activity, and they enjoyed the vibrant scene. Aadya spotted a street vendor selling customized charm bracelets and stopped to look. Karan, wanting to make the moment special, gifted Aadya two bracelets with charms that reflected her personality. Siri also picked out a bracelet for herself.

As they continued their walk, Karan mentioned he wanted to buy some books. They visited a popular bookstore on Church Street, browsing through the selections and picking up a few books that interested them. The atmosphere of Church Street was aesthetic and beautiful, with great weather adding to the charm.

As the night progressed, the crowd thinned out, and the street became calmer. The fun continued as they walked along, enjoying the quieter, more intimate ambiance. The evening had turned out to be a perfect celebration of their hard work and the friendships they had built.

The night stretched on beautifully. They spent their time until midnight on Church Street, which gradually began to quiet down as the lights started to go off. Not wanting the night to end, Karan suggested they all go back to Rishi and Vishnu’s flat, along with Siri, Avneet, and Aadya, to continue having fun.

Everyone agreed, so they took a cab and headed to the flat. Once there, they played Uno and had a blast, laughing and enjoying each other's company until they all fell asleep. Aadya woke up quite early, as she wasn't used to sleeping at someone else's place. Karan, half-asleep, noticed her and woke up too.

Karan suggested, "Hey Aadya, would you like to grab some filter coffee at Rameshwaram Cafe nearby?"

Aadya agreed, "Sure, let's go while everyone else is still sleeping."

They quietly left the flat and headed to Rameshwaram Cafe. Over coffee, they talked about various things, sharing more about their lives, their interests, and their experiences. Walking around in the early morning calm, the conversation flowed naturally, deepening their connection even more.

The night had been full of fun and friendship, and the early morning coffee just added a sweet touch to their growing bond.

After their coffee, Aadya and Karan returned to the flat to find Siri, Avneet, Rishi, and Vishnu awake and waiting. Rishi and Avneet couldn't resist lightly teasing them.

Rishi chuckled, "Oh look, the cute couple went on a secret morning date!"

Avneet added with a grin, "Must have been a romantic coffee run. How was it, you two?"

Karan and Aadya laughed it off, joining in the fun. Everyone freshened up, and after a bit more chatting, they decided to disperse to their respective places to rest for the day.

Later in the evening, Aadya called Karan. "What are your plans for going home? We need to go for the semester break."

Karan replied, "Let's board the same train, the Rajdhani, back home."

They booked their tickets for the next day, packed their stuff, and boarded the train at 8 PM. Aadya would get off in Hyderabad, and Karan would continue to Delhi.

The initial part of the journey was filled with laughter and fun. They shared jokes and stories, making the train ride memorable. After dinner, provided by the Rajdhani Express, they slept through the night.

In the early morning, as they woke up to tea and hot water being served, Aadya was supposed to get off the train in an hour or two. Although she had been relaxed about the semester break, she suddenly became cranky.

Karan noticed the change. "What's wrong, Aadya? Why are you so irritated?"

Aadya snapped, "Nothing, Karan. Just leave me alone for a bit."

Karan, confused and slightly annoyed, asked, "What the f**k is wrong with you, Aadya?"

Aadya finally confessed, "Probably until now, I wasn't really thinking about it, but I realize I would really miss not seeing you for the next 15 days. It's haunting me. I don't want to get off this train. I feel weird and irritated. I think I really miss you."

Karan, feeling a mix of emotions, replied, "I get it, Aadya. I'll miss you too. We'll keep in touch every day. It's just 15 days. We'll manage."

Aadya nodded, feeling slightly better, and they spent the remaining time together until her stop. As Aadya got off the train, Karan couldn't help but think, "I'll really miss this cranky girl."

They both waved goodbye, promising to stay in touch, looking forward to their reunion after the break.

Aadya wasn't a girl who hated her home. She always loved being back in Hyderabad, enjoying her favorite biryani and home-cooked meals. But this time, her experience was different. She wasn't enjoying the home food as much and felt heavy and weird about being home. Despite her large family—her parents, two sisters, and grandfather—keeping her busy with daily activities and conversations, Aadya found herself experiencing mood swings and feeling lonely.

In contrast, Karan's family in Delhi was much smaller, consisting of just his parents and him. He was never particularly interested in staying home and usually enjoyed being away. But this time, he too felt a strong urge to be elsewhere, missing Aadya more than he anticipated.

As days passed, Aadya's family kept her occupied, leaving her little time to connect with Karan. She managed to send him good morning and good night messages but had barely any time for real conversations. Karan, feeling the absence keenly, tried to reach out and stay in touch as much as possible. But the lack of substantial communication started to frustrate him.

After a week of minimal contact, Karan felt increasingly irritated and hurt. He started to believe that Aadya had forgotten him the moment she returned home.

After a week of minimal contact, Karan couldn't control his anger any longer. He called Aadya repeatedly, but she didn't pick up. This only fueled his frustration. When Aadya finally answered on the fourth or fifth call, she asked, "What's wrong? Why are you calling so many times?"

Aadya had indeed been missing Karan and thinking about him, but she was constantly surrounded by family, making it hard to answer his calls. However, when she picked up, Karan was furious and vented all his frustrations.

"Why aren't you picking up my calls? Why aren't we talking? Doesn't it hurt you to stay away? Is it that easy for you?" Karan's words poured out endlessly, expressing his disappointment and anger. "I never knew I was such a small part of your life. I'm really disappointed."

Aadya was shocked and equally hurt. Feeling misunderstood, she angrily cut the call.

The moment Aadya cut the call, Karan felt a wave of regret wash over him. "Shit," he thought. "How could I shout at Aadya?" Guilt started creeping in, mixing with his anger and confusion. He knew he had been hurt by her absence, but shouting at her had only made things worse.

On the other end, Aadya felt equally hurt and misunderstood. She wanted to explain how overwhelmed she was with family responsibilities but was also angry that Karan had shouted at her instead of listening. The silence that followed was filled with pain and longing. Both were deeply in love, but the inability to communicate left them in turmoil.

The week that followed was excruciatingly hard for both of them. It was the first time since they had expressed their feelings for each other that they went without talking. Each day felt heavy with the unspoken words and unresolved emotions, making the silence between them almost unbearable.

After a week, Aadya began to understand Karan's perspective. She realized it was fair for him to express his feelings, even if they were harsh. Wanting to make amends, she texted Karan: "Shall we meet in Rajdhani again?"

This message was the first contact they had in days, and Karan was elated. All his heavy feelings of missing her suddenly turned into hope. He immediately booked the tickets for both of them.

The next day, Karan boarded the train, eager to meet Aadya. The journey felt interminable, but when the train finally arrived in Hyderabad, Karan could hardly contain his excitement. They saw each other, shared a quick hug, and found a place to sit together, even though their berths were a bit apart.

As they talked, Karan apologized, "I'm sorry for how I acted. I didn't mean to be so harsh."

Aadya, also feeling guilty, replied, "I'm sorry too. It was just hard to find the time to talk with everything going on at home."

They exchanged multiple apologies, understanding each other's situations better. Amidst their sorry's, Karan looked at Aadya and said, "Aadya,

Silence 1,2,3....

I think I love you. I love you so so much."

Aadya's eyes welled up with tears, and she couldn't help but weep. "I really love you too, Karan," she said, her voice choked with emotion.

Seeing Aadya cry, Karan felt a wave of emotion wash over him. They both were incredibly emotional at this point, feeling the depth of their love for each other. They held each other's hands, letting the intensity of the moment sink in.

The train journey continued with both of them looking at each other and out the window, unable to sleep. When they finally arrived in Bangalore, they took a Rapido to Aadya's place. Since her roommate Siri was still out of town, Karan went with all his luggage to Aadya's flat. They sat down and talked about everything.

Aadya explained her family's situation, and Karan understood the challenges she faced with privacy and communication. He realized that his situation at home was different, with a separate room and more privacy. They discussed their feelings and realized how much they liked each other.

This conversation strengthened their bond, making them appreciate each other even more as they looked forward to the future together.

Their next semester started, and Aadya had to choose her specialisation. She decided to focus on environmental law, while Karan chose to specialize in finance. Their studies became more intense as they prepared their CVs, applied for internships, and delved deeper into their chosen fields. Although it was a two-year course, time flew by amidst their studies and occasional meetups with friends like Avneet, Rishi, and Vishnu. They experienced a few disagreements and fights along the way, but their bond grew stronger.

One more semester passed, and they were now approaching their internship. Aadya secured an internship in Chennai, focusing on environmental law, particularly addressing issues related to floods and other environmental challenges in the region. Although she didn't know Tamil and wasn't a fan of moving to Chennai, the opportunity was too good to pass up, and it had the potential to lead to a job offer.

Meanwhile, Karan got an internship in Bangalore at a finance firm in Bellandur, which was conveniently close to where he lived. He was comfortable with his internship and looked forward to gaining experience in his field. Avneet and Rishi also stayed in Bangalore for their respective internships.

The prospect of long-distance was daunting for Aadya and Karan. They had grown accustomed to seeing each other every day and spending time together frequently. The thought of being apart was a shocker, but Aadya was also excited and busy preparing for her move to Chennai.

Aadya and Karan, both embarking on exciting new internships, found themselves facing the challenge of long-distance for two months. Aadya moved to Chennai from Bangalore, while Karan stayed in Bangalore. Initially, both were anxious about the separation but also thrilled about their new opportunities. However, Aadya's first month in Chennai was overwhelming. Settling into a new city with a language barrier made her feel alienated and in need of emotional support. She frequently tried to reach out to Karan, but he was equally engrossed in his new job in finance, a field unfamiliar to him.

Aadya's constant struggles with the new environment and the pressure of work left her frenzied and anxious. She desperately needed someone to talk to, especially Karan, to share her feelings and seek comfort. However, Karan, being passionately involved in his work, couldn't find the time to support her. This lack of communication led to feelings of neglect and misunderstanding on Aadya's part. She felt unheard and unsupported, which caused her to become increasingly frustrated and distant.

After a month of minimal communication, Aadya finally confronted Karan, expressing her disappointment and anger. This confrontation did not lead to a resolution but instead deepened the rift between them. They both started avoiding each other, communicating less and less, which further strained their relationship. Aadya, feeling misunderstood and defensive, began to shut herself off, focusing on surviving in her new city. Karan, on the other hand, misinterpreted her distance as disinterest, thinking she might be too busy with new friends and experiences.

As the two months passed, the emotional gap between them widened. Both felt the heavy weight of unresolved issues but were hesitant to address them. Aadya longed to pour out her feelings and sort things out but was held back by her defensiveness. Karan, unaware of the depth of Aadya's struggles, assumed she no longer wanted to communicate.

In the end, the combination of distance, lack of communication, and different commitments created a significant divide between Aadya and Karan. Their once-close relationship now seemed distant and strained, leaving them uncertain about their future together once the internships ended.

As their internships ended and they returned to Bangalore, Aadya and Karan felt a weight of unspoken words and unresolved feelings between them. The initial excitement of reuniting had been replaced by an emotional heaviness. Both had grown used to guarding themselves during their time apart, making it hard to break the silence that now lay between them.

Despite this, they agreed to meet for lunch on their first day back at college. The meeting was awkward, filled with half-hearted attempts at conversation. After lunch, they parted with a hollow goodbye, each retreating to their own routines. Aadya kept herself busy with project submissions and reconnecting with friends like Siri and Avneet, while Karan immersed himself in his studies and spent time with friends like Rishi and Vishnu. Days turned into weeks, with neither taking the first step to bridge the gap.

One night, unable to sleep and overwhelmed by a sense of longing and sadness, Aadya decided to reach out to Karan. She called him at 11 p.m., asking if they could go for a walk. Karan, who had been feeling the same way, immediately agreed. Within minutes, he was at her door, and they set off for a walk through the familiar streets of Koramangala.

As they walked in silence, Aadya couldn’t hold back any longer. She stopped, turned to Karan, and burst into tears, releasing all the pent-up emotions of the past two months. Karan, taken aback, tried to comfort her, asking if something had happened or if it was something he had done.

“It’s everything, Karan. Chennai was overwhelming, and I felt so alone. I needed you, and you weren’t there,” Aadya cried.

“I’m sorry, Aadya. I didn’t realize how much you were struggling. I was so caught up in my internship. I should have been there for you,” Karan replied, his heart heavy with guilt.

They continued walking, Aadya pouring out everything she had been holding inside. Karan listened intently, realizing how much he had missed. They reached a small park and sat down under a tree, where Aadya’s tears flowed freely as she spoke. Karan put his arm around her, offering comfort.

“I love you, Aadya,” Karan said softly, finally breaking the silence that had grown between them.

Aadya looked at him through her tears and replied, “I really love you too.”

With those words, the barriers between them began to crumble. They hugged each other tightly, feeling a sense of relief. Karan walked Aadya back to her flat, and they parted with a promise to communicate better.

The next few days saw them slowly rebuilding their relationship. They met every day for lunch, having normal conversations that gradually became deeper. Three days later, Karan asked Aadya out for an ice cream date at Creamstone in Koramangala. Aadya, excited, dressed up in a pink rose midi frock she had ordered online.

They met at 10 p.m. and sat inside Creamstone, talking about their internships, their bosses, and their experiences. Time flew by as they shared their stories, not realizing they had been talking for over four hours until the owner told them it was time to close. They left the shop, deciding to take a walk to continue their conversation.

Walking hand in hand, they felt the remaining silence between them dissipate. When Aadya mentioned she was feeling tired, Karan walked her back to her flat. Aadya invited him to stay the night, and Karan, relieved and happy, accepted.

In Aadya’s room, they talked more, with Karan finally letting his guard down. “I’ve been playing it too safe lately, Aadya. I was so focused on finance and my internship that I didn’t realize how much I was neglecting you. I’m really sorry,” Karan said, tears in his eyes.

Aadya listened, her own emotions raw. “I felt so alone, Karan. I needed you, and you weren’t there. But I understand now. We both had our struggles,” she replied, her voice soft.

They made a pact to always communicate openly about their feelings and to never let misunderstandings grow into distance again. Feeling a sense of relief, they fell asleep, holding each other.

The next day, Karan went back to his flat to freshen up before heading to college. Over the following weeks, their relationship grew stronger as they adhered to their promise of open communication. They supported each other through the remaining semesters, and when placements came, they faced the new challenges together.

Their bond, once tested by distance and silence, emerged stronger than ever, with a deeper understanding and commitment to each other. They knew that as long as they communicated and supported each other, they could overcome any obstacle that came their way.

As the new semester began, Aadya and Karan found themselves busier than ever. The demands of their second year in college, with internships, specializations, and placements on the horizon, kept them on their toes. Aadya was deeply involved in her environmental law studies, while Karan was immersed in finance. Despite their hectic schedules, their relationship flourished. They made time for each other, discussing life, dreams, and future plans.

One evening, Aadya and Karan sat in their favorite café, discussing their future. "Karan, what if we end up in different places after graduation? How do we handle that? Do we even try to make it work?" Aadya asked, her voice tinged with worry.

Karan looked at her seriously. "Aadya, we’ll figure it out. I can't imagine not having you in my life. We'll find a way to make it work, no matter what."

As placement season approached, they agreed to look for jobs in Bangalore. However, when the results came in, Aadya learned that her internship in Chennai had turned into a full-time job offer. It was a fantastic opportunity, but it meant she would have to move back to Chennai. Karan, on the other hand, had secured a position with a finance firm in Bangalore, a job that allowed him to work from home.

The news led to a heated argument. "Aadya, we agreed to look for jobs in Bangalore. You can't just leave," Karan said, frustration clear in his voice.

"I know, Karan. But this opportunity in Chennai is too good to pass up. I didn’t get any offers in Bangalore. I need to stay independent and take this job," Aadya replied, her voice shaking.

"So you're choosing the job over us? Can't you find something else here? Do you even care about this relationship?" Karan's voice was rising with anger.

Aadya's eyes filled with tears. "Of course, I care! But I have to do what’s best for my career. Why can't you understand that?"

"Understand? It feels like you’re just walking away! We had a plan, Aadya. We agreed to be together in Bangalore. Now, you're just throwing that away?" Karan snapped back, his face red with anger.

Aadya's tears started to fall. "I'm not throwing us away, Karan! I'm trying to build a future for myself. Why can’t you see that?"

"Maybe because it feels like you don’t want me in your future!" Karan shouted, his voice breaking.

Their argument continued, both saying things they later regretted. The fight ended with a painful silence, neither willing to back down. Aadya decided to move to Chennai after their convocation, leaving their relationship in a state of unresolved tension and anger.

Karan, a Delhi native, found the idea of moving to Chennai daunting. The unfamiliar city, the language barrier, and the cultural differences were significant obstacles. Despite his love for Aadya, he couldn’t see himself thriving in Chennai.

After Aadya moved to Chennai, they both kept themselves busy with work to avoid dealing with their emotions. Aadya threw herself into her job, while Karan immersed himself in his new role in Bangalore. Three months passed, and the initial anger began to fade, replaced by a deep sense of longing and loneliness.

One night, unable to bear the distance any longer, Karan found himself overwhelmed with a sense of heaviness in his heart. The memories of Aadya, the laughter they shared, and the moments of deep connection haunted him. He realized that he couldn't live without her. The next day, without much thought, he booked a flight to Chennai.

As he arrived in Chennai, Karan's heart raced. He called Aadya, who was surprised but relieved to hear from him. They agreed to meet at a café by the beach.

When they saw each other, the initial awkwardness quickly melted away. They stood there in silence for a moment, then Karan pulled Aadya into a tight hug. They held each other for what felt like an eternity, feeling the weight of the past three months melt away.

Tears streamed down Aadya’s face as she whispered, "I’ve missed you so much, Karan. It’s been so hard here without you."

Karan, his voice choked with emotion, replied, "I’ve missed you too, Aadya. I was so angry, but really, I just wanted to be with you. I don’t care about the city or the job. I just want us to be together."

They sat down at a table, the sound of the waves providing a soothing background. Aadya spoke first, her voice trembling. "Karan, I’ve felt so alone here, trying to be strong. I need you. I’m sorry for leaving without sorting things out."

Karan reached out and took her hand. "I’m sorry too. We both made mistakes, but let’s not let this distance come between us again. We need to be honest and communicate, no matter what."

They sat in the café for hours, talking about everything they had been through in the past few months. The barriers between them dissolved as they shared their fears, frustrations, and dreams. By the time they left the café, it felt like a weight had been lifted off their shoulders.

Deciding to take a walk on the beach, they held hands and talked more about their future. "Let’s make a pact," Karan suggested. "If anything bothers us, we’ll talk it out immediately. No more silence."

Aadya smiled, feeling a sense of relief. "Agreed. No more hiding our feelings."

As they walked, Karan stopped and looked at Aadya. "Aadya, I’ve decided. I’m moving to Chennai to be with you. I can work remotely, and I don’t want to be apart anymore."

Aadya’s eyes widened in surprise. "Karan, are you sure? It’s a big decision. I don’t want you to regret it."

Karan shook his head. "I’m sure. I love you, and I want to be with you. We’ll figure out the rest together."

Tears of relief and joy filled Aadya’s eyes. "Thank you, Karan. This job is important to me, but so are you. Once I’ve gained enough experience, we can move back to Bangalore together."

They embraced, feeling the strength of their renewed commitment. That night, they continued to talk, sharing their hopes and dreams, and reconnecting on a deeper level. They fell asleep holding each other, feeling a sense of peace they hadn’t felt in months.

The next morning, Karan returned to Bangalore to wrap up his work and prepare for the move. Over the following weeks, they navigated the challenges together, their bond stronger than ever. They had learned the importance of communication and support, and it made all the difference.

As they settled into their new life in Chennai, they knew they could face anything as long as they had each other. Their relationship, tested by distance and misunderstandings, emerged stronger and more resilient. They looked forward to a future filled with love, support, and shared dreams, knowing that together, they could overcome any obstacle.
